


Dig that Gold was a casual social game for iOS launched in 2016 by Project M. I joined shortly after its initial launch and worked with the team to build out the concept and develop the design and identity.



I worked as a general designer and artist on the team, touching everything from UI and UX...
...to concept art, illustration, animation, 3D modelling and texturing .




My work regularly involved taking full features from ideation, through visual and functional development to implementation in Unity.




Implementation included creating adaptable, flexible layouts and full UI animation and flows.


As the world was developed I concepted, modelled and textured environmental elements and characters.




I produced 2D illustrations for use in game and as promotional material.



I designed and produced multiple vector icons and UI elements for use throughout the game, helping to develop communication and functional visual style.

Later stages of the game saw more varied environments , which needed varying elements designed and produced in a consistent style.





This was a live project by a small team and my work was very broad by necessity. Alongside the core game art and UI responsibilities I directed and produced videos, concepted mechanics and features and more...
